Quality & Testing

QUALITY ASSURANCE Quality & Testing Quality statements should be read at the product and lot level. This page explains how to evaluate an available record without assuming that one method proves every quality attribute. LOT Match the identifier METHOD Check what was measured RESULT Read units and limits

Our Testing Process

When documentation is available, verify the issuer, product and lot linkage, method, result, units, specification, and date. Missing fields remain unknown; they are not filled in by inference. Certificate of Analysis (COA) A COA is a lot-specific summary of the methods and results listed on that document. COA tracking is product-specific and is not represented as universal across the catalog. HPLC Testing HPLC can report chromatographic purity under stated analytical conditions. It does not by itself establish identity, peptide content, sterility, or endotoxin status. Mass Spectrometry LC-MS can provide evidence relevant to identity when the method, expected mass, tolerances, and sample linkage are documented. It is not a universal contamination screen. Third-Party Verification If third-party or accredited status matters to the research protocol, verify the named laboratory and its scope directly from the record rather than assuming it.

Batch Traceability

For products with COA tracking enabled, match the lot identifier on the material to the identifier on the document. Earlier uploaded batch files remain preserved so a new upload does not erase the historical record.

Standards We Hold

Use the actual product specification and lot record as the source of truth. FDA guidance on peptide-drug quality and NIST guidance on metrological traceability are useful frameworks for understanding why method scope, reference standards, and traceability matter. FDA: water for pharmaceutical use · NIST: metrological traceability All products sold by Gorilla Research Labs are intended strictly for laboratory and scientific research purposes only.
